This we know

easter

Have a happy Easter, everyone!

Five little Easter eggs,
Lovely colors wore;
Mother ate the blue one,
Then there were four.

Four little Easter eggs,
Two and two, you see;
Daddy ate the red one,
Then there were three.

Three little Easter eggs,
Before I knew,
Sister ate the yellow one,
Then there were two.

Two little Easter eggs,
Oh, what fun!
Brother ate the purple one,
Then there was one.

One little Easter egg,
See me run!!!
I ate the last one,
And then there was none.

Blogging just a tad

Since I'm still not home, but here, my blog isn't updated as much as usual. I'll be coming stronger back on Monday evening, when I'm in front of my own computer again. Have patience, please!

Horny Fredrik?

According to aftonbladet.se yesterday, Skavlan is accused of being sexistic, asking female guests "wrong" questions. How sensitive is it possible to get? It's an entertainment show and he's asking a combination of interesting and fun questions we all want to know the answer to. Get over yourselves!

Here's a few examples of the "insulting" questions (only in Swedish, though).

YES, we can!

Obama won the vote of a health reformation, yesterday. Amazing! Half of the world is probably smiling with him, right now. I know I am. It's so about time the US does something about this! Imagine living in a country where you don't dare getting sick or having to chose one finger over another because you haven't got the money to sew both of them back on...

Finally, Obama really has the opportunity to say "yes, we can"! Congratulations!

Stavern

God morning, fellow bloggers!

This week I'm visiting my mother and her husband in Stavern (on the south coast of Norway) and although it's a small town there are great many photo opportunities here. The Stavern yellow used on many of the houses in the city is famous and so beautiful. It has a special warmth to it, and even in the winter it brights up the town image and makes the cold nakedness more bareable.

The pictures below aren't mine, I haven't had the opportunity to load my own on to a computer yet so I picked up some from the web. I don't know all the sources, some of them are from flickr.com, so if you find one that's yours, have a holler.

The sun shines here today and I pray it'll go on shining, it brights up ones mind and gives hope for spring coming soon.

Have a happy sunday!

Have yourself a green St. Patricks day

I don’t celebrate St. Patricks day myself, but many of you do and so; happy St. Patricks! In the spirit of the day – here’s a bit of green for you.

Cottage summer

Such beautiful images from norwegian Home and Cottage. Summer cottage living is somewhat of a dream in Norway and in the south it’s the everyday living, even in the winter. Having grown up in the south, nothing beats the warm sun, the salted sea and the slopes of naked rocks, for me. These pictures might give you an idea of what it’s all about. :)

Sweet H&M summer

Pink and flowers seem to be the trend at H&M this summer. Not really my style but in a nursery or a childs room, perhaps. Qute! The earth coloured pillows and bed sheets might be something I’d by, though.
