First of Advent
For the first time ever, I made a personal Advent decoration, and I actually think it’s kind of pretty. And it certainly was easier than I thought. And fun. The first candle will be lit later today, when it gets darker and we will have warm chocolate with whipped cream and “lussebullar”.
I wish you all a happy first Sunday in Advent!
Oh, and have a look at our veranda. Cat invasion.

And so it begins
I couldn’t wait any longer. Christmas has arrived to our house. Stars hang in the windows and early gifts are wrapped. I’m not usually a very Christmassy person but this year I thought I’d give it a go. And here are a few photos of my early start.

Llamada a Escena
A peek into the home of Spanish interior decorator Eva Martinez. She mixes vintage with beautiful textiles, rustic furniture and soft details. Lovely.

There’s a snow storm out there.
And on that note,
The Five Rules of Snow:
If you wish for snow, you won’t get it
If you wish for snow, sometimes you might get it. In that case, don’t think that the snow is going to eat you.
If you wish for snow and get snow, don’t complain that you got too much. You got what you wished for.
If you wish for snow and get snow, don’t complain that it stays too long. You got what you wished for.
If you don’t want snow, you’ll get snow. Lots of snow.

Christmas at Vintage Kompagniet
I hope you all had a nice weekend! As mentioned we visited Liseberg Christmas Market and it was beautiful! Since we were there on a Saturday the place was crowded but we had such a nice time still. Certainly a successful weekend.
Here are a bit of inspiration from Danish Vintage Kompagniet.
