Since it’s Sunday, and although I’m not a Christian I do love churches. So let’s start with some of those, around the world.

Ceramic plates
Check out these ceramic plates made by Swedish designer Agneta Spångberg. Such a pretty detail in a kitchen or bathroom!
Kitchen dreams
We’'re bying a new dining table and chairs. The table is painted by the last owners in a kind of egg white and then handpainted flowers around the edge, in fuschia with some green and blue wrapped in. It’s simply beautiful! Pictures will come later.
Though, it has made me rethink the kitchen. From the beginning I looked at white ones but now I’m considering something more colory. Like this one.

Dreamy apron
This cute apron can be found at Shabby Apple and not only can you shop after your specific body type, they also provide style tips and nice clothes with funny names. Their shoe collection isn’t much to brag about, though.

Terracotta army in Stockholm
From 28 August to 16 January the famous Chinese Terracotta warriors is visiting Stockholm, in the caverns beneath the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities. This is actually the first time that the ”secret” caverns will be made accessible to the general public. Up until the 1960s, they formed part of the Swedish Navy’s headquarters.
The Terracotta Army (兵马俑 literally "soldier and horse funerary statues") or Terracotta Warriors and Horses is a collection of 8,099 life-size Chineseterra cotta figures of warriors and horses located near the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor (Chinese: 秦始皇陵). The figures were discovered in 1974 near Xi'an, Shanxi province,China.
The Terracotta Army was buried with the Emperor of Qin (Qin Shi Huangdi) in 210-209 BC (his reign over Qin was from247 BC to 221 BC and over unified China from 221 BC to his death in 210 BC). Their purpose was to help rule another empire with Shi Huangdi in the afterlife. Consequently, they are also sometimes referred to as "Qin's Armies".
The Terracotta Army was discovered in March 1974 by local farmers drilling a water well to the east of Mount Lishan. Mount Lishan is also where the material to make the terracotta warriors originated. In addition to the warriors, an entire man madenecropolis for the emperor has been excavated.
The exhibition will consist of several hundred artefacts from six different museums and more than ten different burial sites in Xi’an and its surroundings, including the grave of the first emperor.

New stuff
I received the most beautiful crib for my birthday. Our neighbours have a second hand market every Saturday and Sunday. I have bought several items from there, but when I saw this crib I simply fell in love. So a couple of days ago my Man surprised me with it. I am SO happy! It’s from 1821, isn’t it just amazing?
The cats thought it would be a nice idea to pose, by the way.
The chair I also bought from there and I plan to paint it white and change the fabric to a blue-grey with a little bit of grey-silver mixed in it.
The blue-white vase I also got for my birthday and I just love it. Blue and white is my middle name. The flower I’m a bit unsure of, is it Amaryllis?
The other images is from earlier in the summer, they are taken just outside the house.
